O How much housekeeping should I expect?

CareGivers should perform household services which will facilitate the client's self care at home and are necessary to prevent or postpone institutionalization. A safe and healthy environment should be maintained for the client. These include but are not limited to linen changes and laundry, cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming main walking areas, keeping the kitchen floor and counters clean, and cleaning up dishes after meal preparation, we find general housekeeping should take up about 20% of their time. At least 80% of the caregiver’s duties should be to attend to ADL’s, meal preparation, companionship, stimulation when needed and socialization.

Yes. The Matched CareGivers office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 p.m. We have on call staffing and a nurse case manager available after hours and on weekends.
